SALT LAKE CITY- The No. 56-ranked University of Utah men's tennis team (8-4) travels to San Diego, Calif. for their next four matches. The first match will take place against the No. 69-ranked Pacific (5-3) Sunday, March 15 at 1 p.m. PT.
"Pacific has a very strong team with a new head coach," said assistant coach Roeland Brateanu. "They are very young and have started the season off very well. We will have to play and compete well in order to get a win."
The Tigers have suffered losses to three ranked teams, No. 6 Fresno Pacific, No. 56 Arkansas, Fayetteville, and No. 48 Oklahoma, posting a win against No. 65 BYU, 5-2.
