Dear Tennis Friends,
First of all, we would like to wish everyone a happy, healthy and successful 2010. Of course, we hope that 2010 will be a good year for Utah Tennis and the year has started off fairly well with a #51 national ranking. That is 1 spot higher than we finished last year and figuring all of the new faces and changes, starting where we finished last year is a pretty good thing.

So far we have had great reviews on it and I hope you will enjoy it. The video shows the hard work, passion and camaraderie that have brought us to where we are right now. It is up to this next generation of players to continue to build on our recent success and add to the great history of men's tennis at the University of Utah.
As we have mentioned in earlier emails, we have a young team, 50% of our team is composed of freshmen, that put in a tremendous effort this fall. With our strong schedule this year, we will need all the help we can get. So if you have any time on your hands and we have a home match, we would love for you to come out and cheer us on. Our first match will be against a very good Utah State squad. They have really improved over this past year and they will have two matches under their belt by the time we see them. In order for us to come up with a victory we will need to play very well in both singles and doubles.
So please come and support us for our home opener on Saturday, January 23rd @ 5pm at the Eccles Tennis Center. Hope to see everyone there!
