Phil Steele Names Midseason All-MWC Team

SALT LAKE CITY - Eight Utah players have been named to Phil Steele's 2010 Midseason all-Mountain West Conference team, the publication announced today.
Selected to the first team were wide receiver Jereme Brooks, offensive guard Caleb Schlauderaff, defensive tackle Dave Kruger, defensive end Christian Cox, linebacker Chaz Walker, cornerback Brandon Burton, punt returner Shaky Smithson and kicker Joe Phillips.
The second team includes offensive guard Tevita Stevens, defensive tackle Sealver Siliga and safety Brian Blechen, while running backs Matt Asiata and Eddie Wide, center Zane Taylor, offensive tackle Tony Bergstrom and defensive back Lamar Chapman made the third team.
