CAMP RESUMES
The Utah football team resumes spring practices today after taking last week off for spring break. The weekly schedule includes practice on Monday (3:30-5:30) and Wednesday (3:00-5:00) and the first spring scrimmage on Friday (4:00-6:00). All practices and scrimmages held outdoors are open to the public.CAMP NOTES
Over the break, Utah signed wide receiver Martavious Lee (6-1, 185, Jr.) to a scholarship. Lee, from Miami, Fla., is finishing up his degree requirements at Palomar College and will join the Utes in the fall ... The Utah Spring Football Prospectus is now available online at UtahUtes.com ... The Utah athletics department will host the inaugural Utah Football Ultimate Tailgate Championship on Saturday, April 17, prior to the Red-White Spring Game. Registration for the tailgate competition will close on Monday, April 12 or when the designated area reaches capacity. The tailgate competition will be staged in the west stadium lot, which will open at 6 a.m. Judging will begin at noon and three winners will be chosen, including a grand prize champion and two runners up (best vehicle and most creative). The winners will be crowned at halftime.
