FAIRFAX, Calif. - The University of Utah men's golf team wrapped up its final tournament of the fall season at the Meadow Club Tuesday. Junior Joe Webber posted the best finish for the Utes in individual standings with a final score of 213 (69-71-73) to tie for 37th. The team tallied a final mark of 876 (290-284-302) for a 16th-place finish.
Freshman Brandon Kida was next to finish on the Ute roster, posting a score of 222 (77-69-76) to tie for 70th. Freshman Gentry Hicks completed the tournament with a 74th-place finish with a mark of 224 (81-71-72), while fellow fellow freshman Jack Maerki was not far behind, finishing in 75th place with a score of 228 (69-73-86). Sophomore Daniel Engle finished 77th with a score of 231 (75-75-81).
The Utes will be back in action in Tucson, Ariz., for the Arizona Intercollegiate Invitational, Jan. 30-31, 2012.
