BACK TO SCHOOL
Classes and regular season practices begin today for the Utah football team, which will hold practices Monday through Saturday. The annual Ute Fan Fest is Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Rice-Eccles Stadium and all 18 Ute intercollegiate teams will participate. The event is free to the public. ON THE AIRWAVES
Kyle Whittingham's first radio coach's show is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. on ESPN700. The show will be broadcast live from Harmon's City Creek and is free to the public. Typically, the show runs on Wednesdays, with three Tuesday exceptions (Aug. 28, Oct. 2 and Nov. 20) ... Whittingham will also appear weekly on the "Pac-12 Playbook" on the Pac-12 Networks. The televised coaches' show will cover all 12 teams, with two of the segments dedicated to the coaches in each region (Utah and Colorado will be the featured teams on the Pac-12 Mountain Network). The show will air on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. MT and debuts on Sept. 4.
