TULSA, Okla. - Utah remains in competition at the ITA All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center Tuesday after the second round of the singles and doubles qualifying draws.
In doubles action, juniors Slim Hamza and Cedric Willems netted an 8-4 victory over Baylor's Julian Lenz and Tony Lupieri. The duo will take on South Florida's 7th-seeded Ignacio Gonzalez-Muniz and Oliver Pramming Wednesday in the third round at 10 a.m. CT.
Twenty-ninth-seeded Hamza fell to Gordon Watson of Florida, 7-6(4), 6-4 in the second round of the singles qualifying draw.
