Aug. 28 Idaho State Salt Lake City (Rice-Eccles Stadium) W, 56-14
Utah piled up 589 yards of total offense, had two touchdown returns and blocked a field goal during a 56-14 season-opening victory over Idaho State. The Utah offense rattled off four plays of at least 30 yards and had eight plays that went for 20 yards or more. The Utes were 5-of-7 on third-down chances in the first half.
Sept. 6 Fresno State Salt Lake City (Rice-Eccles Stadium) W, 59-27
Utah took care of any doubt early by earning a 17-0 lead as well as a 174-4 edge in total offense after the first quarter of a 59-27 win over Fresno State at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Utah compiled 526 yards of total offense on the day and put up back-to-back 50-point games for the first time since 2010, when the Utes put up three straight 50-plus-point games (New Mexico, San Jose State and Iowa State). The Ute offense scored on its first three drives and held a 174-4 advantage in yardage during the first quarter as the Utes stormed to a 17-0 lead over the Bulldogs. The Utes outgained the Bulldogs in the first half, 320 to 130, and headed into the lockerroom with a 31-7 edge.
Sept. 20 at Michigan Ann Arbor, Mich. (Michigan Stadium) W, 26-10
Kaelin Clay returned a punt 66 yards for a touchdown and Andy Phillips hit four field goals to help Utah beat Michigan 26-10 at Michigan Stadium. The game was tied twice, the last instance coming at 10 all, before the Utes closed the game with 16 unanswered points. Utah handed Michigan its first non-conference home loss since 2008. Utah held a 4-1 edge in turnovers against Michigan and the Utes did not allow the Wolverine offense into the red zone the entire game.
Sept. 27 Washington State Salt Lake City (Rice-Eccles Stadium) L, 28-27
Utah lost to Washington State, 28-27, in its Pac-12 opener at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Utah converted two non-offensive touchdowns to jump out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead and build a 24-7 advantage at halftime. Unfortunately, Washington State outscored Utah 21-3 in the second half to earn the one-point win.
Oct. 4 at UCLA Los Angeles (Rose Bowl) W, 30-28
Andy Phillips' 29-yard game-winning field goal with 34 seconds remaining gave Utah a 30-28 Pac-12 road victory at No. 8 UCLA Saturday night in the Rose Bowl. Utah started its game-winning scoring drive on its own 25-yard line and went 63 yards in 10 plays and 4:16 that allowed Phillips to make a 29-yard field goal, his third of the contest.

Oct. 16 at Oregon State Corvallis, Ore. (Reser Stadium) W, 29-23 (2 OT)
Junior running back Devontae Booker rushed 32 times for 229 yards and three touchdowns to lead the No. 20 Utah to a 29-23 double-overtime victory at Oregon State in Reser Stadium on Thursday night. Utah held a 253-119 edge in rushing yards over Oregon State. The Utah defense limited the Beavers to six points in the first half, with one of OSU's two field goals coming after a series that started on the Utah 20-yard line. The Utes turned in 10 tackles for loss with five sacks, led by a game-high four TFLs by Nate Orchard, including two sacks.

Oct. 25 USC Salt Lake City (Rice-Eccles Stadium) W, 24-21
Utah earned a 24-21 win over No. 20/21 USC in its annual `Blackout Game' in front of a school record crowd of 47,619 at Rice-Eccles Stadium. With 2:08 left in the fourth quarter, Wilson engineered Utah's game-winning drive, which included his 18-yard run down the left sideline to the Trojan 1-yard line, before he found Clay for the 1-yard game-winning touchdown pass.

Nov. 1 at Arizona State Tempe, Ariz. (Sun Devil Stadium) L, 19-16 (OT)
Junior running back Devontae Booker rushed for 146 yards and caught a touchdown pass, but Utah fell in overtime at No. 15/14 Arizona State, 19-16, in a Pac-12 South Division contest in Sun Devil Stadium. Utah held a 2-0 advantage in turnover margin over Arizona State, while the Ute defense came up with four more sacks and added seven more tackles for loss. Booker turned in 146 yards on 37 carries to go with two receptions out of the back field for six yards and one touchdown, his first receiving touchdown of the season.

Nov. 8 vs. Oregon Salt Lake City (Rice-Eccles Stadium) L, 51-27
Junior quarterback Travis Wilson threw for a season-high 297 yards, but Utah fell to No. 5 Oregon, 51-27, at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Utah produced a season-high 320 passing yards and 440 yards of total offense. Wilson threw for 298 passing yards with 18 completions on 28 attempts and two touchdowns and two interceptions. It was his second 200-yard passing game this season.

Nov. 15 at Stanford Stanford, Calif. (Stanford Stadium) W, 20-17
Travis Wilson found Kenneth Scott on a 3-yard slant for the game-winning touchdown to give Utah a 20-17 double-OT victory at Stanford. Senior defensive end Nate Orchard corralled a sack on the first snap of the second overtime to force Stanford to attempt a 51-yard field goal that would put the Cardinal ahead 17-14. In the first play from scrimmage during overtime, Wilson connected with Kaelin Clay, who streaked down the sideline for the go-ahead score on a 25-yard touchdown catch and Andy Phillips' extra point gave the Utes a 14-7 lead before Stanford's turn. This was Utah's second double-overtime contest of the season and its third overtime game overall this season, the most ever in a single-season in school history. There have now been four double-overtime games in Utah history. The Utes had a 2-1 record in overtime in 2014.

Nov. 22 vs. Arizona Salt Lake City (Rice-Eccles Stadium) L, 42-10
Arizona defeated Utah, 42-10, at Rice-Eccles Stadium. After going down 21-0 late in the second quarter, the Utes would score 10 unanswered points to pull within 11 of the Wildcats, but Arizona managed to score 21 points in less than a two-minute span early in the fourth quarter to put the game away. The Wildcats out-gained the Utes in total yardage, 520-384, after rushing for 298 yards and collecting 222 yards through the air. Utah managed to gain 213 yards rushing and 171 yards through the passing game.

Nov. 29 at Colorado Boulder, Colo. (Folsom Field) W, 38-34
Dominique Hatfield returned a fourth-quarter interception 20 yards for a touchdown and Utah benefited from a pair of key replay reversals as the Utes beat Colorado 38-34 Saturday, sending the Buffaloes to their season-ending eighth consecutive loss. Travis Wilson threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns, helping Utah finish with a winning conference record. Devontae Booker had 25 carries for 95 yards, including a touchdown and a key 11-yard gain in the late going to help run out the clock.

Royal Purple Las Vegas BowlDec. 20 vs. Colorado State Las Vegas (Sam Boyd Stadium) W, 45-10
Utah scored on each of its first three possessions en route to a 45-10 victory over Colorado State in the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl. Quarterback Travis Wilson, who was named the game's MVP, ran for three touchdowns and also threw a touchdown pass while running back Devontae Booker had 162 yards rushing and a touchdown. Wilson ran for a season-high 91 yards and threw for 158 yards. Utah had 548 yards of total offense, including 359 yards rushing. The Ute defense held CSU to 12 yards rushing, and scored 14 points off turnovers (one fumble recovery, one interception).
