#PunterDownUnder: Tom Hackett was named the first Ray Guy Award winner in school history as the nation's top punter and was a consensus All-American. A first-team All-Pac-12 punter for the second time, he led the nation in punts inside the 10 (19) and punts inside the 20 (36).
Hackett ranked third nationally and led the Pac-12 in punting average (46.7 yards per game) and helped Utah finish third in the nation in net punting (42.69).

Big Play Clay: Kaelin Clay made four All-America teams as a punt returner (including three first-team honors) and won the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Punt Returner Trophy. The first-team All-Pac-12 return specialist ran back three punts for touchdowns, which tied for first in the nation and also tied the school record.
He led the Pac-12 and ranked fourth in the nation in punt return average (15.0) to lead Utah to a No. 9 national ranking in punt return average (13.79).

Automatic Andy: First-team All-Pac-12 place kicker Andy Phillips was a Lou Groza semifinalist, a two-time Lou Groza Star of the Week and a two-time Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week.
He finished second in the nation in made field goals from 40+ yards with 12 and his 80-percent success rate from 40+ yards (12-of-15, including 2-of-2 from 50 yards) was best in the nation for kickers with a minimum of 13 attempts from that distance. His 23 field goals tied for fourth in the nation and led the Pac-12.
