SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's tennis team (10-8, 0-2 Pac-12) travels to Los Angeles this weekend to take on No. 7 USC (16-3, 2-0 Pac-12) Friday at 3 p.m. PT and No. 15 UCLA (11-6, 2-0 Pac-12) Saturday at 1 p.m. PT.

Slim Hamza captured one of the biggest upsets in recent Utah history when he defeated USC's seventh-ranked Raymond Sarmiento at the No. 1 position, 6-0, 6-2. The 51st-ranked Utes were defeated by the No. 2 Trojans, 4-1 at home.
No. 15 UCLA
The Bruins are undefeated at home, 10-0, and boast three nationally-ranked individuals including No. 4 Mackenzie McDonald, No. 26 Dennis Mkrtchian and No. 121 Martin Redlicki. McDonald is currently 9-1 at the No. 1 singles position, Mkrtchian holds an 8-4 dual-match record and Redlicki is 12-1 in dual-matches with a nine-match winning streak. McDonald and Redlicki team up in doubles for a ranking of seventh and a 9-2 dual-match record at the No. 1 spot.
