SALT LAKE CITY--
For the sixth-consecutive year, 98-percent of Utah's football season ticket holders renewed their seats for the upcoming season, with more than 32,000 season tickets purchased. In addition, the Utah ticket office has received 1,000 requests to upgrade or add seats for existing season ticket holders. Seating requests will be processed through May 29.
Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Aug. 17. The Utes have sold out their last 31 home games, dating back to the 2010 season opener. Of the sellouts, 28 were played before standing-room only crowds that exceeded Rice-Eccles Stadium's seating capacity, which was 45,017 from 1998-2013 and expanded to 45,807 last year.
Utah opens the 2015 season on Sept. 3 against Michigan in Rice-Eccles Stadium. Other home games include Utah State (Sept. 11), California (Oct. 10, Homecoming), Arizona State (Oct. 17), Oregon State (Oct. 31), UCLA (Nov. 21) and Colorado (Nov. 28).
