SALT LAKE CITY -
Athlon Sports has named four Utes to its 2015 Preseason All-Pac-12 first team, choosing running back Devontae Booker, defensive end Hunter Dimick, punter Tom Hackett and kicker Andy Phillips. The quartet was previously named to the Phil Steele preseason All-Pac-12 first team.
Hackett, Booker and Phillips were all first-team All-Pac-12 selections a year ago. Hackett was also a consensus All-American and the 2014 Ray Guy Award winner. Booker will enter his senior season as a Heisman Trophy candidate.
Athlon gave Utah a preseason national ranking of No. 31, while predicting the Utes will finish fifth in the South Division.
The Utes are less than two months away from the start of fall camp on Aug. 6.
