FAST BREAKS
• Utah heads into the week in sixth-place of the Pac-12 Conference standings at 8-7 in league play. The Utes are a half game out of fifth-place of USC (8-6). Utah is one and a half games back of Cal (9-5), who currently sit in fourth-place overall.
• The Utes are shooting .507 from the field, which ranks second in the Pac-12 and fourth overall in the nation. Utah trails only UCLA, who leads both the Pac-12 and the nation with a .533 field goal shooting percentage.
• Utah continues to lead the league and rank No. 11 in the nation with a +7.9 rebounding margin. Utah has out-rebounded its opponent in 21 of 27 games this season.

Kyle Kuzma heads into Thursday's game with 15 double-doubles on the season, needing one more double-double to tie
Jakob Poeltl for the most double-doubles in a single season over the past five years.
THE GAME
The Utah Runnin' Utes (17-10, 8-7) will head to Boulder, Colo., for a single mid-week contest against the Colorado Buffaloes (16-12, 6-9), this Thursday, Feb. 23. Tip-off between the Utes and Buffs is set for 9 p.m. MST at Coors Events Center.
COVERING THE RUNNIN' UTES
Thursday's contest will be televised live on ESPNU. Roxy Bernstein will call the action, while Corey Williams provides color commentary for the game.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah dropped its second-to-last road contest and fell to 0-2 on the week with a loss to the Oregon State Beavers (67-68) this past Sunday in Corvallis, Ore.
• The Utes erased an early 10-point deficit and came all the way back to take a 28-24 lead at the half, but OSU out-scored the Utes 18-5 over the final 5:04 on the way to a one-point victory.
• OSU's Stephen Johnson scored 24 of his game-high 31 points in the second half, which included pouring the final four points and the eventual game-winner for the Beavers.
• Utah, who shot 52 percent from the field, limited OSU to just 33 percent shooting in the first half, but the Beavers came back to net a 57 percent effort in the second half, which included dropping 6-of-13 from three-point range.
• Utah outscored the Beavers 42-24 in the paint and out-rebounded the home squad 36-25, but OSU countered with 16 points off 17 Utah turnovers.

Kyle Kuzma led Utah with 19 points and was a rebound shy from notching his 16th double-double of the season. Kuzma was 8-of-14 from the field and 2-3 from downtown.

David Collette finished with 13 points and has now scored in double figures in all 17 games he has played in this season.
• Senior
Gabe Bealer knocked down a new season/career-high three three-pointers and finished with nine points off the bench.
• Sophomore
Sedrick Barefield registered a game-high six assists and did not have any turnovers.
SCOUTING COLORADO
• The Buffs are coming off a weekend in which the team went 1-1, picking up a win at Oregon State and then falling to then No. 7-ranked Oregon on the road.
• Colorado has won three of its past four games and six of its last eight contests dating back to Jan. 26.
• Derrick White leads a trio of CU players scoring in double figures with a 16.8 points per game average. Xavier Johnson (14.6 ppg) and George King (11.6 ppg) follow.
• White's 16.8 ppg average ranks fifth-most among Pac-12 players. He also averages 4.1 assists per game, which ranks seventh in the league.
• King and Wesley Gordon are tied atop the team leaders with 7.0 rebounds per game. King has totaled 196 rebounds on the year, while Gordon has posted a team-best 68 offensive boards.
• The Buffs average 75.6 points per game and give up 72.0 points to opposing squads on the year.
• CU shoots 44.8 percent from the field and yield 42.6 percent to opponents. Pac-12 opponents are shooting 46.4 percent against the Buffs.
• The Buffs are 11-3 overall at home this season, which includes a 4-2 mark against teams from the Pac-12.
SERIES HISTORY WITH THE BUFFS
Utah defeated Colorado, 76-60, earlier in the season to push its all-time record to 20-26 when facing the Buffs. The Utes have now won six straight games over CU, with the winning streak dating back to the 2013-14 season.
The Utes are just 5-18 all-time when facing the Buffs at Coors Events Center, but has managed a two-game winning streak over the past two seasons. CU's last win over Utah in Boulder was a 79-75 overtime-victory back on Feb. 1, 2014.
