SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah men's tennis team is set to compete in its final fall tournament as they take on the Loyola Marymount Invitational, Nov. 9-11.Â
The tournament will be played in dual format with Utah taking on teams including Nevada, Utah State and Loyola Marymount.Â

Fri., 11/9
Nevada vs. Utah (Singles) – 10 a.m. MT
Utah vs. Utah State (Doubles) – 1 p.m. MT
Sat., 11/10
Utah vs. Loyola Marymount (Doubles) – 1 p.m. MT
Utah vs. Utah State (Singles) – After doubles with LMU
Sun., 11/11
Nevada vs. Utah (Doubles) – 10 a.m. MT
Utah vs. Loyola Marymount (Singles) – After doubles with NevadaÂ
The Utes have had a strong fall, including at their last outing at the Gopher Invitational.
Slava Shainyan and
RJ Parker were able to finish in fourth place in the Maroon Team Draw with
Dan Little,
Russell Benkaim and
Paul McCallie also coming away with key singles wins.Â
Utah starts the spring season on Jan. 12 against the BYU Cougars on the road. The Utes will host 14 home matches at the Eccles Tennis Center this year.Â
