FIRST SERVE
Utah will look to bounce back after a tough road trip at home against No. 20 Arizona and Arizona State.

The Wildcats are having a good season sitting at 18-8 and holding a 7-7 record on Pac-12 play. Arizona beat Washington State last weekend, becoming the first team to knock off the Cougars at home this season.

Arizona State got off to a great start to the season and conference play, but have recently hit a tough stretch losing eight in a row.

Utah is 7-28 all time against Arizona, but has had recent success against the Wildcats winning two of the last three. The Wildcats will be the 11th team that the Utes have played that are ranked this season.

Setter
Bailey Choy is sitting at 2,970 career assists. She would become the sixth player in program history to surpass the 3,000-assist mark.

This season, Choy has averaged 8.11 assists per set and has 811 on the season.

In 2017, she became the first player with over 1,000 assists in a season since the 2010 season.

1,000 CAREER DIGS
Against Washington State,
Brianna Doehrmann became the 11th player in program history and 164th player in Pac-12 history that reached the 1,000-career digs mark.

She's been on fire lately having at least 18 digs in six of the last nine matches.

Overall, she has had six matches with 20-plus digs. Her season high came in the first meeting with Arizona where she had 28 digs averaging 7.0 digs per set.

In the season, Doehrmann is ninth in the Pac-12 averaging 3.91 digs per set and has stepped that up in conference play averaging 4.20 digs per set.

RANKED OPPONENTS
Utah has defeated three ranked opponents this season with two of those matches coming against Washington and one against Oregon.

The match this Friday against Arizona will be the 11th against a ranked opponent this season.

The Utes will have plenty of other opportunities to rise in the RPI as they will play three more teams (Arizona, USC, Oregon) that are ahead of them in the RPI. USC is the highest ranked team Utah will play as they sit at six in the RPI.

Utah will be on the road again traveling to Oregon and Oregon State. They will take on Oregon on Wednesday, November 14 at 8 p.m. They then will travel to Corvallis to take on the Beavers at 8 p.m. MT.
