THIS WEEK
The Utah men's golf team is set to compete at the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills. The event will run over three days, Sunday through Tuesday, Sept. 24-Oct. 2, at the par 72, 7869-yard Erin Hills Golf Course in Erin, Wis.

THE FIELD
Along with the Utes, the 11-team field includes: Arizona State, Iowa, tournament host Marquette, McNeese State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Northwestern, UC Davis, and Wisconsin.

UTAH'S LINE-UP
Utah's line-up this week will consist of: Senior Kyler Dunkle, juniors Jordan Costello and Mitchell Schow, and sophomores Blake Tomlinson and Tristan Mandur. Freshman Axel Einarsson will also travel to compete as an individual in the event.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
Live scoring for the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills can be found at www.GolfStat.com . The event will be played with tee times that will begin no earlier than 9 a.m. CT. Groups for the Monday and Tuesday rounds will be based on the tournament leaderboard with tee times off the No. 1 and No. 10 tees.

DÉJÀ VU
Senior Kyler Dunkle claimed his second straight individual title after tying for first place at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational and then winning the playoff hole to take home the hardware. Not only did Dunkle win his second straight individual title after finishing first place at the Showdown in the Rockies as well, the Utah senior also repeated as the Mark Simpson Invitational individual winner.

The Colorado native won last year's Mark Simpson Invitational to pick up Utah's first regular season individual title since 2006. Now adding in two additional individual titles, Dunkle has become the all-time leader in Utah golf history with three individual wins.

BIRDIE BROTHERS
Utah leads the nation in total birdies so far this season with 179 birdies through three events, while Dunkle also leads the country in individual birdies recorded with 46 on the year. Blake Tomlinson is tied for 8^th with 35 birdies, Jordan Costello is tied for 13^th with 34 birdies, while Axel Einarsson is tied for 18^th with 33 birdies.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah returned to the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational and finished in second place behind tournament host, Colorado. The Utes finished the event at 12-under par (279-292-281=852). Kyler Dunkle picked up his second straight individual title after finishing the event at 13-under par (66-70-67=203) to finish in a tie for first place.

In his first event in Utah's lineup for the year, Mitchell Schow recorded a top five finish, placing in fifth place with a score of 3-under par (69-76-68=213). Tristan Mandur, who competed as an individual, finish ninth with a score of 1-under par (73-71-71=215).

UP NEXT
The Utes will take off nearly a month from competition before heading to the Saint Mary's Invitational in Monterey, Calif. The three-day event will be held at Poppy Hills Golf Course on Monday, Nov. 5, and running through Wednesday, Nov. 7.
