SALT LAKE CITY – With the season-opener under their belts, the Utes have set their sights on the Northern Illinois Huskies. The game, which will take place in DeKalb, Ill., is set for Saturday, Sept. 8 at 5:30 p.m. MT on ESPNews.Â

Head Coach Kyle Whittingham
On if they got the tweeks from game on fixed…
"We hope. We will find out, but you never know until you line up to play again. We certainly knew what our issues were and we are working hard to try and be better this week. We've got to be better this week."
Offensive Line Coach Jim Harding
On how he felt game one went…
"We definitely have to work on our consistency. I think that was the theme for the entire offense. We have to come out ready to play. We need to be ready from play one this week because this is a really good opponent and we can't afford to start slow. We have to play more consistent upfront."
Defensive Line Coach Lewis Powell
On how he felt the revamped defensive line looked against Weber State…
"They did what they were supposed to do. Everyone got a good amount of reps and we were able to look at everyone and see what they could do. We are about where we thought we should be. The task at hand is a lot bigger now and a lot better. The talent that we are playing this week is different from last week. The guys are back and want to continue to work and get better."

On Northern Illinois's main pass rusher (#15)…
"He is quick. He has a relentless motor and was a first-team All-American last year. He has a lot of desire and is passionate. He isn't the biggest guy, but he is productive."
On if there are any challenges with taking a team on the road for the first time…
"Well first of all the guys that have never traveling with us, which is probably about 30 of our 70, it is new for them. You go on a road trip for one reason, to win the game. It is a business trip."

- Solomon Enis, Jaylen Dixon, Cole Fotheringham, TJ Green and Brant Kuithe all caught their first-career receptions in a Utah uniform against Weber State.Â
- Nick Ford (offensive guard), Pita Tonga (defensive tackle) and Mika Tafua (defensive end) all made their first-career starts against Weber State.Â
- Zack Moss's 86-yard rushing touchdown was the second-longest rush in the country in week one and a career-long for the junior.Â
- Jason Shelley had career-highs in passing yards (40) and rushing yards (49).Â
- Britain Covey was second on the team in all-purpose yards (119) against Weber State, the first football game he has played in since Utah's bowl game win over BYU in 2015.Â
