Learn more about incoming freshman Brooklyn James in the latest of our newcomer "Getting to Know U" series. James, who hails from Clackamas, Ore., is in her first season with the Utah track & field squad. She is also a member of Utah's women's soccer team.

What is the main reason you chose to attend Utah?
The main reason was that I was really interested in competing in two sports here and they had a defined plan set out for how I was going to do it, and how I was going to do it successfully, along with help with my major.
