FAST BREAKS
• Utah will wrap-up a three-game home stand this week, hosting the Colorado Buffs in Pac-12 play this Sunday, Jan. 20, at 4 p.m. MT
• The Utes are coming off an 88-70 conference win over Washington State this past Saturday at the Huntsman Center.
• The Utes are 67-63 all-time in Pac-12 play, which includes an 8-6 mark in league play when facing the Buffs.
• Utah had six players score in double figures in its win over Washington State this past Saturday, marking the first time six different Utes tallied 10+ points in a single game since Nov. 15, 2016, when the Utes downed Concordia (Ore.), 96-86.
• Freshman Timmy Allen is coming off a 15-point and nine-rebound performance against the Cougars. It marked the first game that Allen has led the team in both points and rebounds in a game this season.

THE GAME
Utah (8-8, 2-2 Pac-12) will have just one contest this week, hosting the Colorado Buffaloes (10-6, 1-3 Pac-12) this coming Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Huntsman Center. Tip-off between the Utes and Buffs is set for 4 p.m. MT in Salt Lake City.

COVERING THE RUNNIN' UTES
Sunday's contests will air on the Utah Athletics Radio Network (ESPN 700 AM) with Bill Riley and Jimmy Soto announcing. Sunday's match-up will also be televised on ESPNU with Roxy Bernstein calling play-by-play and Adrian Branch serving as an analyst.

SCOUTING COLORADO
The Buffaloes are 10-6 on the season overall, which includes a 1-3 mark in Pac-12 play ... Colorado is coming off a 77-70 loss to Washington in Boulder this past Saturday, but picked up its lone win in conference play last Thursday, knocking off Washington State 92-60 at CU Events Center ... The Buffs opened Pac-12 play with losses on the road to Arizona (64-56) and Arizona State (83-61) ... CU is 2-4 in road games this season, which includes its current 0-2 record in Pac-12 road games ... CU's two road wins came against Air Force (93-56) and New Mexico (78-75) ... McKinley Wright leads the Buffs with 12.9 points per game and has tallied a team-best 84 assists on the season ... his 5.2 assists per game average ranks second in the league and 58th in the nation ... Tyler Bey, who averages 12.0 points per game, also boasts a team-best 9.1 rebounds per game, good enough for third in the Pac-12 and 42nd in the nation ... he pulls down 6.9 defensive boards per game, ranking second in the Pac-12 and 34th in the nation ... he has registered five double-doubles on the year ... Bey also leads the team with 24 blocked shots, which ranks among the top-100 players in the nation ... CU scores 77.2 points per game and gives up just 69.1 points to the opposition, netting a +8.1 scoring margin that is good enough for fourth in the league ... the Buffs shoot 46 percent from the field as a team, while giving up 43 percent to opposing squads ... they shoot 33 percent from three-point range and 72 percent from the charity stripe ... CU's 37.8 rebounds per game is fourth in the Pac-12, while its +5.7 rebounding margin also ranks fourth in the Pac-12 and 45th in the nation ... CU's 269 free throws made are second-most in the Pac-12 and rank among the top-55 teams in the nation.

UTAH vs. COLORADO SERIES HISTORY
The Utes have won eight of the past nine meetings, but Colorado continues to lead the all-time series with a 27-22 record against Utah. Utah and Colorado split last season's series, with both home teams taking home the win. Last season's 67-55 road loss to the Buffs marked the first defeat to CU since falling 79-75 in overtime back on Feb. 1, 2014, in Boulder.

Utah is 14-8 all-time when facing CU at home, which includes a current six-game winning streak over the Buffs at the Huntsman Center. Utah's last loss to CU at home was a 55-48 defeat back on Feb. 18, 2012.

Utah is 9-6 against the Buffs since both teams joined the Pac-12 in 2011-12. CU won the first three meetings, but Utah has rattled off nine wins out of the past 12 meetings since 2013.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah snapped a two-game skid with its 88-70 victory over Washington State at the Huntsman Center this past Saturday. The Utes shot 55 percent from the field overall, while limiting WSU to just a 36 percent effort. Utah shot better than 37 percent from three-point range, while the Cougars were limited to just a 20 percent effort.

Utah had six players score in double-figures, led by freshman Timmy Allen's 15-point total. Both Gach scored 14 points off the bench, while Charles Jones totaled 11 points coming off the pine. Riley Battin added 11 points, while both Parker Van Dyke and Sedrick Barefield chipped in with 10 points each.

UP NEXT
Utah returns to the road next week for a two-game trip to the Bay Area. The Utes will open at Stanford next Thursday, Jan. 24, and will close out the weekend taking on California on Saturday, Jan. 26. Tip-off between the Utes and Cardinal is set for 6 p.m. PT, while the game against the Golden Bears will tip at 7 p.m. PT.
