THE GAME
Utah (9-8, 3-2 Pac-12) will head to the Bay Area this week to take on both Stanford (9-9, 2-4 Pac-12) and California (5-13, 0-6 Pac-12). The Utes and Cardinal will meet this coming Thursday, Jan. 24, at Maples Pavilion with a tip time set for 6 p.m. PT. The Utes and Golden Bears will close out the week on Saturday, Jan. 26, tipping off at 5 p.m. PT from Haas Pavilion.

COVERING THE RUNNIN' UTES
Thursday and Saturday's contests will both air on the Utah Athletics Radio Network (ESPN 700 AM) with Bill Riley and
Jimmy Soto announcing. Thursdays match-up at Stanford will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with Ted Robinson calling play-by-play and Mike Montgomery serving as an analyst. Sunday's contest at California will be aired live on ESPNU with Eric Rothman providing play-by-play and Adrian Branch serving as the color commentator.

The Cardinal are 9-9 overall and 2-4 in Pac-12 play this season ... Stanford split its two previous contests this past week, falling on the road to Washington (80-64), but then picking up a road win at Washington State (78-66) ... UTAH vs. STANFORD SERIES HISTORY
Utah leads the all-time series 20-13, which includes a 13-3 record against the Cardinal at home, 2-9 mark when playing on the road and a 5-1 record in neutral court contests. Utah won its only meeting with Stanford last season, downing the Cardinal 75-60 at home. The Utes have dropped six consecutive games when playing Stanford at Maples Pavilion, which includes an 0-5 record since Utah joined the Pac-12 Conference. Utah's last win against Stanford in Palo Alto was a 99-91 victory dating back to 1971.

UTAH vs. CALIFORNIA SERIES HISTORY
Utah and Cal have split the previous four meetings and the all-time series is currently tied at 15-15. Utah won the only meeting between the two teams last season, downing the Golden Bears 77-43 in Salt Lake City. Utah is 3-8 all-time when facing the Bears in Berkeley, which includes having dropped the previous two meetings. Utah's last win against Cal at Haas Pavilion was a 63-59 victory back on March 5, 2014. Utah's other two wins in Berkeley came back in 1940 and 2007.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah put together its first two-game winning streak in Pac-12 play with a 78-69 home win over Colorado this past Sunday. Utah dominated the first half on the way to a 40-19 halftime lead, and while Colorado managed to outscore the Utes 50-37 in the second half, the Utes still came away with the victory.

Timmy Allen scored a career-high 21 points and added 10 rebounds for his first double-double as a Ute. Senior Sedrick Barefiled led the way with 22 points, draining five three-pointers on the afternoon. Sophomore
