Utes in the NFL: Week 12 Recap, Week 13 Preview

SALT LAKE CITY – With just five weeks remaining of the 2019 NFL regular season, 14 former University of Utah football players will be in the spotlight this week as things begin to head toward the playoffs.
Both Star Lotulelei (Buffalo) and Marcus Williams (New Orleans) will get things started in week 13 on Thanksgiving with the Bills taking on Dallas at 2:30 p.m. and the Saints playing at Atlanta at 6:20 p.m.
The Bills are currently in second place in the AFC East with an 8-3 record while New Orleans is holding a commanding lead in the NFC South. Williams is currently tied for second in the NFL this season with the second-most interceptions in the league (4).

Utah had six different players start in week 12 for their respective teams. Tony Bergstrom got his fourth start of the season for the Redskins, starting at tight end instead of on the offensive line against the Detroit Lions, helping Washington to a 19-16 win.
Lotulelei, who played in his 103rd career game against Denver last week, started at defensive tackle, grabbing one sack while propelling the Bills to a 20-3 win. Bolles, who was on the losing end in that game, has started all 11 games for Denver this season and in just three years has started in all 43 games that he has appeared in.
