Utes in the NFL: Week 9 Recap, Week 10 Preview

SALT LAKE CITY – With the Denver Broncos and the Washington Redskins heading into a BYE week, only nine former Utes will take the field for week 10 of the 2019 NFL regular season, starting on Thursday night.
The Utes will have players represented on all three nights, starting with Sam Tevi and the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, Nov. 7 (6:20 p.m. MT), and ending with a trio of NFL newcomers in Cody Barton, Marquise Blair and Mitch Wishnowsky battling it out in the NFC West. Wishnowsky and the San Francisco 49ers are currently the only undefeated team in the NFL remaining.

The former Utes that represented the program in week nine of the NFL regular season are coming off a successful week where eight players were on the winning end of the game, including Wishnowsky who earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
He finished the game with five punts for 231 yards (46.2 yards per punt), landing three inside the 20 with a long punt of 50 yards. He dropped one on the Arizona 10-yard line in the first quarter and two others inside the 20 (18-yard line and 7-yard line) in the third quarter.
