Steve Smith Sr. to Speak at Utah Football Coaches’ Clinic

SALT LAKE CITY—The Utah football staff will host its annual Coaches' Clinic on Saturday, Mar. 30 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Spence and Cleone Eccles Football Center. The clinic is for high school coaches and others interested in learning more about coaching.
Registration is from 7-8 a.m. in the Eccles Football Center Hall of Fame room on 580 S. Guardsman Way in Salt Lake City. Late registration will be at Rice-Eccles Stadium at 9 a.m.
The clinic kicks off with breakfast in the Eccles Football Center at 8 a.m., followed by a session with Director of Sports Performance Doug Elisaia. Attendees are then welcome to observe Utah's football practice from the sidelines at Rice-Eccles Stadium beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Immediately following practice, Mental Performance Coach Dr. Nicole Detling will lead a session on mental toughness and members of the Utah coaching staff will hold instructional "chalk talks." The clinic will conclude with a talk by former Ute and five-time NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver Steve Smith Sr.
