SAN FRANCISCO – Utah junior golfer
Jordan Costello has been named to the Pac-12 Golf All-Academic Team for the second-straight year, announced by the league on Thursday.
Costello played in 11 events for the Utes, including the Pac-12 Championship. He tied for ninth at both the Showdown in the Rockies and the Bandon Dunes Championship for his best finishes of the season and finished in the top 25 four times during the year. Costello was selected as the 2018 Wyoming State Golf Association Men's Player of the Year.
Over three years with the Utes, Costello has a 73.5 scoring average.
Since joining the league, nine Utah golfers have combined for 13 all-academic golf honors.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and appear in at least 50 percent of their team's competition.
