Ute Golfers Solid in Recent Tournaments

Although the NCAA season is over, the Ute golfers continue to play in tournaments across the West with some strong results.
In his second event on the Mackenzie Tour (PGA Canada), recently graduated Kyler Dunkle finished 15-under-par (68-67-66-68=269) for fifth place at the GolfBC Championship on June 16.
Oscar Maxfield finished second at the Utah US Junior Am Qualifier, winning the playoff to qualify for US Juniors.
Jordan Costello won the Wyoming Match Play Championship.
Several Utes competed at the Salt Lake City Amateur at the beginning of June with Blake Tomlinson and Peyton Hastings finishing tied for fifth in the Championship Flight. In addition, assistant coach Chance Cain finished tied for second in the A Flight.
