Utes Wrap Up Successful Pac-12 Media Day

HOLLYWOOD - Head coach Kyle Whittingham along with seniors Bradlee Anae and Zack Moss had a full day in Hollywood, Calif. today for the 2019 Pac-12 Football Media Days, taking part in a full schedule of press conferences, radio interviews, photo shoots and TV appearances all to preview the 2019 season.Â
The day kicked off bright in early in sunny California as the preseason media polls and All-Pac-12 teams being announced at 7:30 a.m. MT with the Utes leading the way on both. Utah was picked first overall to win the Pac-12 Championship title game along with finishing first in the South Division race.Â

The Utes also had the most first-team selections on the preseason All-Pac-12 team with Anae, Moss, Julian Blackmon, Jaylon Johnson and Leki Fotu all earning spots. Darrin Paulo, Britain Covey and Darrin Paulo earned second-team nods while Ben Lennon, Cole Fotheringham and Javelin Guidry were all named to the honorable mention squad.Â

After the announcement of preseason awards, the Pac-12 also unveiled that the Pac-12 Championship title game will officially be moving to Las Vegas, Nev. for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.Â

After the Utes finished breakfast, the busy day began with a group photo before breaking off to start their media circuit. Whether it was shooting photos in their uniforms, or recording PSAs for the conference, Whittingham, Anae and Moss had a full schedule to adhere to.Â

Along with meeting with local media from the Salt Lake City area, the Utes also got to sit down with ESPN, CBS Sports, FOX, NFL Network and Pac-12 Networks throughout the day before heading to the main set to talk with Pac-12 talent Yogi Roth and Mike Yam.Â

With Pac-12 Media Days wrapped up, the Utes set their sites on fall camp, starting on July 31. Utah kicks off the 2019 season on the road against BYU on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 8:15 p.m. MT, airing on ESPN.Â
