SALT LAKE CITY – Week three of the NFL regular season starts tonight with 12 former Utah football players taking the field this week for their respective teams.

The Utes had 12 players see action in week two, including a battle between former safeties Eric Weddle and Marcus Williams. Weddle finished the game with seven tackles and a defended pass, walking away victorious over Williams (4 tackles) as the Rams beat New Orleans 27-9 at home.
Former All-American kicker Matt Gay continues to put the ball through the uprights for the Tampa Bay Bucaneers, knocking in two field goals and two PATs against Carolina last week, including a 32-yarder to end the game and give them the 20-14 win.
