Getting To Know U: Karli Branch

Learn more about freshman Karli Branch in the newest installment of our "Getting To Know U" series. Branch, who grew up in Draper, Utah, brings championship experience to the team as she won the 2018 Utah Cross Country Region 7 Championship and in 2017 captured the 5A state cross country championship. Branch is the daughter of Laura and Jayson Branch and her major is pre-biology.
Q: What is your favorite TV show?
A: I would have to say "America's Got Talent."
Q: What is your favorite drink?
A: I love blue Powerade Zero
Q: What is your favorite type of food?
A: I really enjoy eating Chinese food
Q: What is the last book you read?
A: I can't remember the last book I read but I am currently reading "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand.
Q: What do you wish you knew more about?
A: I really wish I knew more about the history of other countries rather than the U.S.
Q: What would be your ultimate vacation?
A: I would love to go to Dubai and repel off of the tallest tower in the world.
Q: What is your favorite thing about the University of Utah?
A: I really like the views from campus and the skyline of Salt Lake that you can see.
Q: Who is your favorite music artist?
A: I really like to listen to Young the Giant right now.
Q: What is your dream car?
A: My dream car would probably be a yellow corvette.
Q: What would be your dream job?
A: I really want to be a geneticist. Like discovering new breakthroughs and stuff.
