ONE-HIT WINNERS
The Utes beat Kansas State on Sunday 2-1 and only had one hit in the game and the one hit didn't come until the bottom of the ninth inning.
After great pitching kept Utah in the game,
Matt Richardson stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the ninth and started the inning with a single to left field. After a walk and sacrifice bunt, Richardson ended up scoring on a wild pitch. Then, the Utes drew two more walks and
Shea Kramer reached base on a fielder's choice beating out a throw trying to turn a double play allowing the winning run to score.
It was the second one-run victory that Utah had for the weekend and first walk-off win of the season.
