SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah men's golf program is set to its annual Utah Golf Pro Am on Monday, Aug. 24 at the Salt Lake Country Club.
Registration for the Pro Am will open the first week of June. Anyone interested in sponsoring a hole can contact head coach
Garrett Clegg directly (
gclegg@huntsman.utah.edu).
"This is our annual fundraiser for the golf team with all proceeds from the event going directly to the program to help us compete at the highest level in the Pac-12," Clegg said.
Utah's annual event is in its second year as a Pro Am, previously known as "Utah Golf Day." The teams for the event will consist of four amateurs and one professional.
The 18-hole stroke play format will be two low gross and one net score per team. Included in the event will be a professional purse and amateur prizes as well.
