SALT LAKE CITY – Starting on Thursday, April 23, there will be a group of former Utah football athletes waiting in anticipation to take the next step in their careers as the 2020 NFL Draft begins.
The NFL Draft will run April 23 and will air on NFL Network, ESPN and ABC. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the NFL has modified the draft for the health and safety of fans and athletes with all picks coming virtually during the event.
Full Schedule/How to Watch: Thursday, April 23: Round 1 (NFL Network, ESPN, ABC), 6 p.m. MT/8 p.m. ET Friday, April 24: Rounds 2-3 (NFL Network, ESPN, ABC), 5 p.m. MT/7 p.m. ET Saturday, April 25: Rounds 4-7 (NFL Network, ESPN, ABC), 10 a.m. MT/12 p.m. ET
During the three day event, the NFL will also be hosting the Draft-A-Thon, a virtual fundraiser in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. Fans can join in on the live stream with appearances from NFL broadcaster Rich Eisen, two-time Super Bowl Champion and eight-time Pro Bowler Deion Sanders and special guest actor Kevin Hart.
Utah football head coach Kyle Whittingham visited with the media to preview the Ute talent hoping to hear their names called this week.
