Seven Former Utes Ready For Divisional Playoffs

SALT LAKE CITY – Four former University of Utah football players are set to take the field on Saturday and Sunday in the NFL Divisional Playoffs with seven total former Utes on the eight teams still competing for a Super Bowl berth.
Utes In the Playoffs
Gay and the Rams will kick things off on Saturday, Jan. 16 when they take on the Green Bay Packers at 2:35 p.m. MT on FOX, followed by Huntley and the Ravens traveling to Buffalo to battle the Bills at 6:15 p.m. MT on NBC.
On Sunday, Jan. 17, Allen, who signed with the Browns on Jan. 4, will take on the defending Super Bowl Champions in the Kansas City Chiefs at 1:05 p.m. MT on CBS, followed by a late afternoon kick (4:40 p.m. MT) with Marcus Williams and the Saints hosting Tampa Bay on FOX.
The Wildcard Round was full of highs and lows for the #ProUtes, starting with Buffalo's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Julian Blackmon put together a strong game with five tackles for the Colts while Moss had seven carries for 21 yards, and while the Bills walked away with the 27-24 victory, Moss suffered an injury that will keep him out the remainder of the playoffs.
Gay and the Rams beat the Seattle Seahawks to advance to the NFC Divisional Playoff with Gay knocking in field goals from 40, 39 and 36 yards, scoring 12 of the Rams' 30 points. Cody Barton saw time on special teams for the Seahawks, finishing the game with one tackle.
A great late season run by the Washington Football Team came to an end in the Wildcard Round as well, falling to Tampa Bay 31-23. Alex Smith had to sit out of the game due to calf soreness, but Jared Norris represented the Utes for Washington, seeing action on special teams in the game.
Williams and Hansen both saw action for the Saints in the Wildcard Round, helping New Orleans beat the Chicago Bears, 21-9. Williams racked up three tackles as the Saints' starting free safety while Hansen recorded one tackle on special teams.
