Utes in the Pros: Divisional Round

SALT LAKE CITY – We are on to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs and three former members of the Utah Football program are on active rosters with a ticket to Conference Championship Weekend on the line.
Both of Saturday's contests will have a Utah connection, starting at 2:30 p.m. MT with Devin Lloyd's Jacksonville Jaguars headed out to Kansas City. The Chiefs also have a former Ute on the sidelines with Alex Whittingham serving as defensive quality control coach. Kansas City took the Week 10 meeting of the sides, 27-17.
In Saturday's nightcap, the Philadelphia Eagles with Britain Covey will host their NFC East rival in the New York Giants. The Eagles swept the regular season series against the squad from just up the New Jersey Turnpike, including a 48-22 triumph inside MetLife Stadium.
Then on Sunday afternoon, look for Mitch Wishnowsky and the San Francisco 49ers taking on Dallas at Levi's Stadium.

Looking Back at Super Wild Card Weekend
Six former Utes were in action during last weekend's action, with five starters during a postseason opening round that fans will likely remember for a long time.
In an absolutely improbable comeback, the Jacksonville Jaguars trailed the Los Angeles Chargers by a 27-0 score with under five minutes to go in the second quarter. But former Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd and the home squad held the Chargers to two punts and a 1-of-2 line on field goals in the second half; all while quarterback Trevor Lawrence chaired three touchdown drives and put the team in position for a field goal as the clock hit all zeros.
Lloyd made five tackles in the 31-30 victory at TIAA Bank Field.
A pair of former Utah teammates, still teammates in the NFL, repped the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night in quarterback Tyler Huntley and safety Marcus Williams. Needing a touchdown, Baltimore got into the red zone on its final drive of the ballgame, but the Ravens were unable to find the equalizer as Cincinnati held on in the 24-17 final score.
Huntley passed for a pair of touchdowns and Williams contributed two tackles plus a pass breakup.
Staying in the AFC, it was another double-digit comeback out in Orchard Park as Eric Rowe's Miami Dolphins erased a 17-0 deficit before falling to Buffalo, 34-31. Rowe (7 tackles) had a strip sack during the ballgame on what ultimately became a scoop-and-score right after halftime, giving the Dolphins the lead at that time.
There was one matchup during Super Wild Card Weekend to pit former Utes against each other, and it came in San Francisco as Mitch Wishnowsky's 49ers took the victory over Cody Barton and the Seattle Seahawks. Barton had nine tackles, one short of a team-high, adding one tackle for loss and a pass breakup.
Wishnowsky was called upon just once to punt in the game, booting a 57-yarder while also holding on field goals and PATs.
