Utes in the Pros: Week 7

SALT LAKE CITY – Seventeen Utah Football alumni are on active rosters heading into Week 7 of the NFL season, with 23 former Utes overall on teams throughout the league.
Thursday Night Football kicks off a stretch of 11 games on the schedule set to feature Pro Utes. Linebackers Devin Lloyd and Nephi Sewell will cross paths in the Jacksonville-New Orleans game before nine different matchups on Sunday's slate include an on-field connection to the U.
Monday Night Football will see punter Mitch Wishnowsky and the San Francisco 49ers head out to Minnesota. Wishnowsky's 49ers as well as the Philadelphia Eagles--with Britain Covey—are both 5-1 and lead their respective divisions in the NFC.
In the AFC, Baltimore leads the North Division aided by Tyler Huntley and Marcus Williams while Lloyd and the Jaguars are atop the South.

Along with the player connections to Utah, former Ute Alex Whittingham continues his sixth season with the AFC West-leading Kansas City Chiefs as defensive quality control coach. Brian Johnson is also on the Philadelphia Eagles sideline for his third season on staff and first as offensive coordinator.
