Utes in the Pros: Week 2

SALT LAKE CITY – We're on to Week 2 of the NFL season and 12 games are expected to feature at least one Utah alumnus. In total, 23 former Utes are on NFL rosters with 16 projected to see game action.
Just moments ago, the Philadelphia Eagles announced that wide receiver Britain Covey had been elevated from the practice squad for tonight's game vs. Minnesota. That game kicks at 6:15 p.m. and will be streamed on Prime Video.
A busy Sunday begins at 11 a.m. MT, with rookies Clark Phillips III (Atlanta) and Dalton Kincaid (Buffalo) kicking off in the early games. Among the mid-afternoon matchups, former Utes teammates Cody Barton and Garett Bolles will square off against each other as Barton's Washington Commanders head out to Denver to face the Broncos. Then, in a Monday night doubleheader, linebackers Nephi Sewell and Mohamoud Diabate look to help New Orleans and Cleveland both to a 2-0 start.
