Utes in the Pros: Week 4

SALT LAKE CITY – Only three undefeated teams remain entering Week 4 of the NFL season. Two are from the NFC and have Utah Football alumni on their rosters in Philadelphia (Britain Covey) and San Francisco (Mitch Wishnowsky).
Twenty-three former Utes are currently on NFL rosters, with 16 projected to suit up in Week 4. It includes the Atlanta-Jacksonville game kicking off at 7:30 a.m. MT from Wembley Stadium in London. Eight games this week—all on Sunday—include at least one former Ute on an active roster.

Week 4 (players on active rosters)
Along with the player connections to Utah, former Ute Alex Whittingham is underway in his sixth season with the Kansas City Chiefs as defensive quality control coach. Brian Johnson is also back with the Philadelphia Eagles for his third season on staff and first as offensive coordinator.
Recapping Week 3
Perhaps the biggest Pro Utes highlight of Week 3 came out of the Colts-Ravens game, which saw Indianapolis kicker Matt Gay go 5-for-5 on field goal attempts.
He set an NFL record making all four of his attempts from 50-plus yards, including a 53-yarder with 1:02 remaining in regulation to tie the score at 19. He lined up again in overtime from 53 yards out, connecting to deliver a Colts victory and ultimately earn AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Making his Monday Night Football season debut, Britain Covey showed off his returning ability that Utah fans enjoyed for several years inside Rice-Eccles Stadium. Covey had three punt returns in Philadelphia's victory at Tampa Bay, including a career-long 52-yard run.
