Utes in the Pros: Week 10

SALT LAKE CITY – The page has turned to the second half of the NFL's regular season and action continues with Week 10 of the schedule. Twenty-six Utah Football alumni are on league rosters this week and 15 are projected to suit up starting Thursday night.

Several former Utes have helped their teams to the top spot in their divisions. The 7-1 Detroit Lions play on Sunday Night Football this week; the club has a one-game lead in the NFC North with Tim Patrick and rookie Sione Vaki each with contributing roles. Staying in the NFC, Clark Phillips III and the Atlanta Falcons look to build on their two-game pad in the South this weekend with a trip to New Orleans.

The AFC East is topped by Buffalo, winners of four games in a row. The Bills, with former Utah teammates Cole Bishop and Dalton Kincaid, head to Indianapolis for an 11 a.m. MT kickoff Sunday.

Two more division-leading squads have Utah alumni on their respective coaching staffs. The Commanders have a half-game lead in the NFC East, thanks in part to Brian Johnson's work as assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator. The NFL's only remaining undefeated team resides in the AFC West; Kansas City is 8-0 with Alex Whittingham on the Chiefs' staff as defensive quality control coach.
