Height, speed and experience will be the name of the game with the 2024 Utah Football wide receivers as the Utes are gearing up to start spring ball in March.
Known as strong route runners with good hands, the Ute wide receivers are also traditionally a large part of Utah's blocking schemes on offense.
UtahUtes.com will breakdown the spring roster as practices get closer to starting, continuing with the wide receivers.
RETURNING UTES
Arguably one of the fastest players on offense, senior Money Parks will be looking to have another standout season with 39 career games and 17 starts during his time at Utah. He has caught at least one pass in 24 straight games, entering 2024 with 58 catches for 719 yards and five touchdowns.
The Utes will also get to see a full season of Munir McClain after he battled injuries in 2023 with sparks of his athleticism shining last season. He finished the year with 15 catches for 287 yards, averaging 17.9 yards per catch with two touchdowns.
NEWCOMER NOTES
The Utah recruiting staff found success in the transfer portal this offseason, including at wide receiver with Taeshaun Lyons and Dorian Singer joining the Utes this spring. Lyons played in two games at Washington in 2023 after earning four-star status in high school while Singer comes to the Utes with 29 career games in Power Five Football (17 at Arizona from 2021-22, 12 at USC in 2023).
The two transfers will also be joined by true freshman David Washington who comes to Salt Lake City from Las Vegas, Nev. and the Delta Academy. Washington was a four-star recruit, rated the No. 7 recruit in the state of Nevada.
