Greep Named to 2024 Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List

SALT LAKE CITY – University of Utah Football snapper JT Greep has been named to the Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List, it was announced today. The award is given annually to the best long snapper in FBS football.
Greep is one of 30 players on the list with the junior out of Glendora, Calif., being one of four representing the Big 12. Ten semifinalists will be announced on Nov. 11 with three finalists chosen on Nov. 25 before the winner is selected on Dec. 14.
Greep has been Utah's primary snapper since 2021, playing in 36 career games with 306 total snaps (112 punt, 44 FG, 150 PAT).
In 2023, Greep was part of a punt unit that ranked in the top-30 in the FBS with a 40.71 net average. During Utah's Pac-12 Championship run in 2022, Greep was integral in helping the Utes to finish second nationally in punt return defense (1.0 yards allowed per return).
