Utah Football Set For Big 12 Media Days

SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah Football program is set to take center stage on Tuesday, July 9 in Las Vegas for Big 12 Football Media Days inside Allegiant Stadium.
Quarterback Cameron Rising, tight end Brant Kuithe, linebacker Karene Reid and defensive tackle Junior Tafuna will represent the Utes along with head coach Kyle Whittingham.
THE BASICS
The Utes are set to start their first year in the Big 12 this fall and will spend Tuesday previewing the 2024 season with local, regional and national media.

HOW TO WATCH
The Big 12 Media Day show will air on ESPNU and ESPN+ on Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. PT/11 a.m. – 3 p.m. MT on Tuesday with ESPN personalities Kris Budden, Brock Osweiler, Andre Ware and Hannah Wing on set for the show.
Whittingham will appear on the show at 12:40 p.m. PT/1:40 p.m. MT with Rising on at 12:55 p.m. PT/1:55 p.m. MT.
All coaches press conferences will also air directly on ESPN+ from 10 a.m. PT – 1:35 p.m. PT/11 a.m. – 2:35 p.m. MT with Whittingham coming on stage at 12:20 p.m. PT/1:20 p.m. MT.
PRESEASON RECOGNITION
Utah was voted No. 1 in the 2024 Big 12 Football Media Preseason Poll, receiving the most first-place votes followed by Kansas State and Oklahoma State. Three Utes also earned preseason All-Big 12 with Kuithe, Tafuna and Jack Bouwmeester all earning a spot on the list.
THE GUYS
Entering the 2024 season, the four team captains representing the Utes at media day have played in 151 career games with 118 starts at Utah. They have led Utah to 51 wins since 2018 and also have 10 all-conference nods between the four of them.
