Senior Running Back Micah Bernard On his performance vs. Baylor…
"I feel pretty good about it. Still a lot to improve on. I think my eye discipline could be better. Went back and watched the film and I left some money out there. Hopefully this week, fix that up and have a bigger week."
On improvement for the running backs as a group…
"I think we can improve in a lot of areas. Run game especially, I'm used to seeing over 200 yards as a team. We haven't quite gotten to that mark; also total offense I haven't seen big numbers yet…We only had 250 or something like that in total offense. That's not enough, but we're going to fix it."
Senior Tight End Brant Kuithe On going on the road for the first time…
"It's going to be awesome. I've never played in Logan before. It'll be kind of an intimate crowd. I think it's about 25,000. It's going to be sold out, going to be awesome. Good environment; it's in Utah so it's not far. It's going to be fun and I'm just excited for it."
Freshman Quarterback Isaac Wilson On Saturday's game…
"I could have had some plays back, for sure. I felt like I took care of the ball well, but left a couple plays out there that I wish I had back. But a lot more to improve on."
On the game plan for the second half…
"The coaches told me that the playbook was open and that they were going to take advantage of it. We always have a motto that the ball is everything and to take care of the ball. That was my plan."
 On preparing for this week…
"I have to prepare the same every week, whether I'm the first, second or third string…Just gotta prepare. I could have prepared a little better last game. I felt like I did good, but there's always more to improve on."
Senior Defensive End Van Fillinger On his assessment of his play over the first two games…
I feel a lot healthier. I feel like I'm playing better. Of course, there's a really long way to go. I don't feel even near to my best ball and I think I need to keep working. I think it was a good start. I'm happy with it, but the job is nowhere near done and I just need to keep improving and keep practicing.
On what specific areas he wants to improve in…
Fundamentals and technique can always get better. Footwork, hand-placement, just technique within that and recognition. Those are all things that I always try to be intentional about in practice.
On if he's ever tried to sack a former teammate…
I think I have. I would have to think about that one. I want to say Zack Wilson, but I don't know if I played against him. Yeah, I don't know.
