SALT LAKE CITY – The Runnin' Ute faithful will get their first glance at the 2025-26 Utah men's basketball team led by first-year head coach
Alex Jensen this Friday, Oct. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. (MT) inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
The FREE exhibition game will also air on ESPN+ with Voice of the Utes,
Bill Riley, and former Runnin' Ute Sean Mooney on the call. In addition, fans are encouraged to stay after the game for postgame autographs down on the floor.
INTERNATIONAL FLAVOR
Utah has six foreign athletes this season with seven countries represented – including the US. The seven countries represented on the roster ranks fourth in the NCAA.

Heading into this season,
Terrence Brown is just 94 points away from reaching 1,000 career points. He'll join current teammate
Don McHenry (1,470) as the second active player on the team to be in the 1,000 points club. Brown scored a total of 906 points in his two seasons in New Jersey at Fairleigh Dickinson. The 6-3 guard scored just 248 points his freshman season before shining his sophomore season averaging 20.6 points for 658 total points on the year.
HOME SWEET HOME
Heading into the season-opener, the Jon M. Huntsman Center is tied with Schollmaier Arena (TCU) and Hope Arena with the highest home scoring advantage of 4.5 according to KenPom. Meanwhile, Utah's 12.8 points differential at home is first among all Division I schools.

Alex Jensen next Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Big 12 Men's Basketball Media Day presented by New Era. It'll serve as the first media day appearance for all three with the Utes taking the dais beginning at 12:20 p.m. (MDT) on ESPNU.
