Utah Women's Basketball Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY — Coming off five consecutive postseason appearances the University of Utah women's basketball program has announced the 2026-27 non-conference schedule that includes nine games in the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
"I'm really excited for our Utah women's basketball fans this upcoming season to get to know our 2026-27 team," head coach Gavin Petersen said. "We will have nine non-conference HOME games this season before Big 12 play begins. We also get the privilege to participate in the 2026 Baha Mar Hoops Tournament in the Bahamas, where we will get two games in and be tested against some great programs."
To kick things off, Utah will host the University of Idaho in an exhibition game Oct. 18th to showcase the Utes for the upcoming season.
The Utes will then officially begin the 2026-27 season with three straight home games starting with Eastern Washington on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Utah will then host Colorado State Nov. 6 and Bethane-Cookman Nov. 9. The Utes will then embark on the first road trip of the season to Boise State on Nov. 13.
Utah will return to the Huntsman Center to host Houston Christian Nov. 16 followed by in-state foe Utah Valley on Nov. 20.
The Utes will then head to the Baha Mar Hoops Tournament in the Bahamas Nov. 23- Nov. 25.
In December, Utah will host four more non-conference games starting with another in-state foe, Utah State on Dec. 1. The Utes will then take on Denver on Dec. 6 and UW-Green Bay on Dec. 12.
Utah will close out the non-conference season hosting the Lady Griz of the University of Montana on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Utah will enter the 2026-27 season coming off a 19-13 overall record. The Utes return four from last year's squad including Chyra Evans and Evelina Otto. Utah welcomes nine new Utes to the roster including five transfers in Lena Giarardi, Laia Conesa, Olivia Bradley, Filipa Barros and Elise Livingston. Utah has four incoming freshmen joining the squad this year.
