2016: NFCA Scholar Athlete ... Pac-12 Player of the Week (3/18) … played in every game, starting 48 in the Utah outfield … had a career-high four runs batted in to go along with three hits, two runs scored, a double and a homer in win over Long Beach State … went 5-for-8 with three runs scored, a triple and homer in the series sweep of No. 22 Arizona State … was also 5-for-8 with four runs scored, three driven in a triple and homer during another series sweep of Stanford … went 4-for-10 with a pair of runs scored in three contests against No. 9 Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament … Was 3-for-3 with a double in the NCAA opening win over Illinois … had a pair of hits, runs batted in and a homer vs. No. 8 FSU in the NCAA Super Regional … had a pair of hits and runs batted in during a win over CSUN … scored a pair of runs in wins over New Mexico State, No. 22 Arizona State and No. 10 Washington … had a multi-hit game at Cal … first collegiate homer was in a win over UC Davis

Prior to Utah: At Palomar, Fronda was named an All-American, as well as being selected to all-conference and all-state teams during both seasons. She batted .445 during her two years with 13 home runs and 73 runs batted in. In the process, she helped lead Palomar to a 2014 California state championship.

At Rancho Cotate, Fronda was the team captain and an All-Empire First Team honoree. She also played basketball and was an all-league selection. Scholastically, Fronda was a member of the honor roll and received the school's student-athlete award. She played her travel ball with California Easton Impact.

Personal: Kay Kay. is the daughter of Henry Fronda and Renea Guerrero and wants to major in health promotion and education. She has four siblings, Teiya, Alexa, Joveiya and Kataleiya.
