Now in his second season with the Utah Volleyball program, Beau Lawler takes over as Director of Operations for the 2016 season.

Lawler spent his first season with the Utes as the team’s video and statistics coordinator, where he accumulated and distributed analysis on all Pac-12 matches for both player and team development. He also assisted in weekly scouting reports for upcoming opponents.

Lawler will now manage the day-to-day operations of the volleyball program, which will also include taking lead on social media and digital content for the team. He will also serve as summer camp director for the program.

Prior to his coming on board with the Utah Volleyball team last season, Lawler worked for Apple as the Director of Retail Operations in the Utah market. Before his stint with Apple he worked at Nike for four years, serving in the same capacity for both Orange County, Calif., and Utah markets.

Lawler, a native of Agoura Hills, Calif., is currently pursing a degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Statistics and a Minor in Computer Science at the U. He now resides in Salt Lake City.
