AM-700 to Carry Women's Basketball Games this Weekend

SALT LAKE CITY - Jacor Broadcasting of Salt Lake City announced on Wednesday that it will broadcast both Utah women's basketball games at UTEP and New Mexico this weekend on AM-700 KWLW. The two games were originally not part of the broadcast schedule.
Both games will be broadcast tape-delayed on AM-700 KWLW following Utah State men's basketball and live on the internet at www.broadcast.com. The game at UTEP on Thursday will be broadcast on the internet at 6:00 p.m. and tape-delayed on AM-700 at 9:30 p.m. The game at New Mexico on Saturday will be broadcast on the internet at 7:00 p.m. and on AM-700 at 9:00 p.m.
With just those two games remaining on its regular-season schedule, Utah is in first place in the Western Athletic Conference Pacific Division with an 11-1 record. The Utes have a one-game lead over New Mexico (10-2 WAC), which hosts BYU on Thursday night. Utah can wrap up the WAC Pacific Division's No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament with two wins this weekend. Saturday's game at New Mexico will likely decide the division championship.
