Salt Lake City - Lori Parrish-Salvo, a pioneer in Utah women's athletics, stood among the athletes that marched in the opening ceremonies for the 15th annual Utah Summer Games, held at Southern Utah University's Eccles Coliseum. She was one of 10 inductees into the Summer Games Foundation Hall of Honor.
Parrish-Salvo starred in three sports at the U.-basketball, track and volleyball. She was the U.'s first All-American women's basketball player. She also holds the honor as the first women's basketball player to be inducted into the State of Utah Basketball Hall of Fame.
