"San Diego State is very much an improved team this season," said Head Coach Elaine Elliott. "This was such a physical game. Sometimes we wait and see what its going to take and we didn't have that to start the game. I give credit to San Diego State, they were very good defensively, physically, they were motivated and it was a very tough game. I think the difference was that Beckman's game was great. She rose to the occasion of the physical play and that was what we needed tonight," said Elliott.
