Salt Lake City - The No. 13/15 ranked University of Utah women's basketball earned its second-straight and 11th overall NCAA Tournament berth on Sun., Mar. 11.
The Utes (26-3, 14-0 MWC) are the No. 5 seed and will match-up with No. 12 Fairfield University (25-5, 16-2 MAAC) in the first round on Sat., Mar. 17 at 9:30 p.m. (MST) in Salt Lake City.
The Utah-Fairfield winner will play the winner of No. 13 seed Oregon (17-11, 10-8 Pac-10) and the No. 4 seed Iowa (20-9, 12-4 Big Ten) on Mon., Mar. 19.
Game time for the Oregon-Iowa match-up is yet to be determined.
