Although she has struggled with the task, she has a two-year overall record of 9-45, she remains optimistic.
Building a winning program at the Division I level will take time, and Darling knows her patience and hard work will pay dividends in the near future. To achieve her goals, Darling has focused on three areas - team development, recruiting and community development. The first step is to coach the current players to the best of their abilities. Secondly, the Falcons will continue to recruit quality women who have the ability to help Air Force compete in a highly competitive conference. The final area is to get more involved with the community and get the community more involved with the program.
